Researcher of the Month – Dr. Anthony Guiseppi-Elie

Dr. Guiseppi-Elie has made significant contributions to the scholarly conversation in his field. He has 136 publications, has been cited 3,526 times, and has an h-index of 31. In 2012, his research was featured on programs aired on SC ETV Radio and Germany’s Deutschlandradio. Last year, he was named editor-in-chief of Bioengineering, a peer-reviewed journal available online.

When we contacted Dr. Guiseppi-Elie about this recognition, he wrote us back from Alès, France where he is a Visiting Distinguished Professor at l’École des Mines! When he returns this fall, he will teach courses in Engineering Materials and Biotransport Phenomena and oversee research for Creative Inquiry, honors, graduate, and doctoral students. Dr. Guiseppi-Elie director of the Center for Bioelectronics, Biosensors, and Biochips (C3B) and is also founder and Scientific Director of ABTECH Scientific, Inc. in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Guiseppi-Elie joined the Clemson University faculty in January 2006.
